In the role of Senior Ports & Maritime Engineering Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Responsible for the simultaneous management of multiple small to large projects (construction values typically from $5M to $100M) Primary duties will include: Maintaining schedules Estimating and providing input regarding project resource needs Staff workload projections Maintaining budgets Overseeing the quality control of deliverables Apply a thorough knowledge of current principles and practices of engineering as related to this specialized field, through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions Individual will work on projects ranging from limited complexity and scope to those including complex features Knowledge of the USACE regulatory permitting processes and strategies to successfully permit projects Timely execution of proposal generation and fee estimates using internally established tools and software, implementation of company objectives and periodic participation and input for strategic planning and betterment of the ports and maritime program Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out) Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews Implement QA/QC procedures Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers Perform other duties as needed
