About The Position

The Contractor shall provide appropriate experts to critique analytic products, methodologies, and assumptions provided for by the Sponsor. They may need to present oral or written reports, such as, discussion papers, "think pieces," or research papers-on specific analytic issues. "External analysis" may also include creating, maintaining and enhancing databases that are centered on requirements and needs of the Sponsor. "External analysis" may also include developing new or innovative analytic processes, conducting unique focus groups, or performing research on countries regarding societal issues or media trends. The Contractor may also be asked to identify off-the-shelf datasets that are available for public purchase relevant to Sponsor requirements. Data format, costs, and requirements will vary and be determined at the task order level.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.A. in a relevant field (political science, international affairs, public policy, etc.)
• 15+ years of relevant IC and national security experience
• Political and leadership analytic expertise (preferably with international affairs and area matter expertise, such as in East Asia/China; the Middle East and North Africa; Latin America; etc.)
