The Senior Policy Analyst for Antitrust and Innovation Policy at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) is responsible for conducting research and engaging in public policy debates on antitrust economics and policy. This full-time, permanent position focuses on innovation and dynamic competition issues, contributing to the Schumpeter Project on Competition Policy for the Innovation Economy. The analyst will produce various publications and represent ITIF at public events, shaping the discourse on antitrust and innovation.

  • Monitor and analyze ongoing policy developments related to antitrust economics and innovation.
  • Conduct economic research and communicate findings through policy reports, op-eds, and blog posts.
  • Represent ITIF at conferences, panel discussions, and other public events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in research and policy.
  • At least four years of experience in economics or antitrust policy.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality research outputs and policy reports.
  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in economics, public policy, or political economy.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial organization economics and U.S. antitrust policy history.
  • Ability to critique various economic arguments regarding competition issues.
  • Strong writing skills for clear and persuasive communication to policy audiences.
  • Effective communication skills for presentations and teamwork under pressure.
  • Interest in and support for technological innovation and innovation policy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
