About The Position
The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector & Voter Registrar maintains tax accounts and collects property taxes, performs vehicle registrations and title transfers, and facilitates the voter registration process for stakeholders in the nation's third largest county. Join us in our mission to offer our customers the most convenient and efficient service possible. The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector's Office is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Senior Policy Advisor. Reporting to the Director of Policy and Innovation, this role develops innovative policy solutions and strategic initiatives, monitors and analyzes developments in local, state and federal government that impact the office, directs and oversees research and analysis, and advises on policy matters, legislative actions, and government relations strategies.
