Your work environment at EXP In this role, you will be a part of the Plumbing Design/Engineering team based in Raleigh, North Carolina office, and the opportunity to work on the healthcare facilities , higher education & science and technology plumbing MEP projects. What a day at EXP has in store for you Able to lead and mentor staff on all of their responsibilities, collaborates with and supports fellow colleagues on their technical development and professional growth. Working knowledge of various codes including but not limited to North Carolina Plumbing Code, IPC, UPC and CPC as well as NFPA 99 Review code related items with engineers to ensure compliance. Perform at a responsible charge level of meeting exp design and quality levels. Ability to QC work of plumbing engineering staff. Creates the narratives (basis of design) for the SD work. Perform front-end loading of plumbing systems. Develop and monitor plumbing work plans in conjunction with PM. Write specification sections. Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours. Writes studies and reports for plumbing and medical gas systems when needed on projects. Understand and apply engineering principles and fundamentals through calculations and design. Be able to troubleshoot construction issues on site with the team. Assist the Project Manager with developing fees, add services, and overseeing the project design. Be able to manage time effectively to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines adequately. Assists with development of design guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures when directed by the Principle Lead.
