About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Platform Virtual Machine Engineer to join our pioneering team as an Equity Co-Founder at the forefront of native blockchain execution. At Autheo, we are building the platform that redefines decentralized computation, delivering sub-microsecond execution speeds, billions of transactions per second throughput, and mathematically proven security against adversaries. You will own the world’s first cryptographically native virtual machine — executing encrypted WASM smart contracts at 0.4 μs per opcode, 1 B+ TPS sustained, with built-in FHE, zk-proof verification, differential privacy, SGX/TrustZone isolation, and DAG-based parallel scheduling — becoming the unbreakable execution core for all sovereign dApps, confidential DeFi, and planetary-scale private AI.

Requirements

  • 8+ years building production virtual machines or WASM runtimes in Rust
  • Multiple mainnet-grade execution engines achieving ≥100 M TPS
  • Hands-on FHE and zk-proof integration into instruction sets
  • Deep expertise in JIT/AOT, secure enclaves, memory safety, and formal verification
  • Proven 10×+ performance over EVM/SVM baselines

  • Core contributor to Wasmtime, Lucet, Firecracker, or blockchain VMs (EVM, SVM, Move)
  • First-author papers at top systems or security conferences
  • Patents in encrypted execution, zk-VMs, or post-quantum runtimes

Responsibilities

  • Ship production VM executing encrypted WASM at 0.4 μs/opcode and 1 B+ TPS
  • Build DAG-based parallel interpreter eliminating re-execution and enabling topological scheduling
  • Embed CKKS/BFV fully homomorphic execution directly in the opcode set
  • Implement in-VM zk-proof generation + verification (1–5 ms) for every state transition
  • Deliver native SGX/TrustZone support with 1 TB sealed memory and remote attestation
  • Ship post-quantum cryptographic opcodes (Kyber + Dilithium) with <10 μs overhead
  • Design 80 % state compression + encrypted linear memory preserving FHE compatibility
  • Build zero-config multi-language SDK (Rust/Go/Solidity/JS) with automatic FFI and proof generation
  • Enable GPU-native parallel execution of independent contract shards
  • Publish native encrypted VM and zk-VM breakthroughs at ASPLOS, SOSP, OSDI, PLDI
  • Keynote at WasmCon 2026 on “1 Billion Encrypted TPS Virtual Machine with Native FHE”
