About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Platform Vector Database Engineer to join our pioneering team as an Equity Co-Founder at the forefront of native blockchain execution. At Autheo, we are building the platform that redefines decentralized computation, delivering sub-microsecond execution speeds, billions of transactions per second throughput, and mathematically proven security against adversaries. You will own the planetary-scale encrypted vector database that powers all RAG/KAG retrieval, agent memory, semantic search, and AI inference — delivering 0.4 μs encrypted ANN queries at 1 B+ QPS, 1 trillion+ vectors, full FHE + zk-proof results, ε=0.5 differential privacy, and 80 % compression across 10,000+ DePIN shards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years building production vector databases (Milvus, Pinecone, FAISS, Weavi, Qdrant)
  • Multiple deployments storing ≥100 billion vectors with ≥100 M QPS
  • Hands-on FHE or zk-proof integration into ANN search engines
  • Deep expertise in HNSW, IVF-PQ, diskANN, sharding, and GPU-accelerated indexing
  • Proven exabyte-scale vector durability and consistency systems

  • Core contributor to Milvus, FAISS, or open-source vector engines
  • First-author papers at top IR/ML venues
  • Patents in encrypted similarity search, zk-vector proofs, or vector compression

Responsibilities

  • Ship production vector engine hitting 0.4 μs encrypted k-NN/HNSW search at 1 B+ QPS
  • Build DAG-backed clustering and topological similarity search with zero redundancy
  • Embed CKKS/BFV fully homomorphic encryption for exact search on encrypted embeddings
  • Implement zk-proof vector search returning 1–5 ms validity proofs for every result
  • Deploy dynamic sharding of 1 trillion+ vectors across 10,000+ global nodes
  • Integrate SGX/TrustZone enclaves for 1 TB+ encrypted vector storage with remote attestation
  • Ship 80 % lossless vector quantization/compression preserving post-quantum security
  • Deliver zero-config vector SDKs (Rust/Go/Python) with built-in encryption and proof generation
  • Drive GPU-native ANN graphs and AI-driven index rebuild prediction
  • Publish encrypted vector search and zk-retrieval breakthroughs at NeurIPS, SIGIR, KDD, ICML
  • Keynote at VectorDB Con 2026 on “1 Billion Encrypted Vector Queries/sec at 0.4 μs”
