As a Senior Platform IAC Engineer, you will be supporting the development and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control. The Senior Platform IAC Engineer will be well versed in maintaining COTS/FOSS products and use of tools such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible, Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs. Note This position is based in Richardson TX. and work will be performed at the onsite Facility requiring occasional travel to the customer site for upgrade and implementation activities as necessary.

  • You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IAC solutions
  • You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks
  • You will assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare
  • You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on premise or virtualized / Cloud based computing environments
  • You will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution
  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
  • Experience with Tenable, Consul, Terraform
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
  • A current TS/SCI Security Clearance is required, day 1 with the willingness to obtain a CI Poly.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience with installing and configuring Kubernetes
  • Experience with application deployments to Kubernetes using Helm
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging deployment and software infrastructure issues
  • Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)
  • Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
  • Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
