About The Position
The Senior Platform Engineer at The Prudential Insurance Company of America is responsible for configuring and building applications that adhere to the latest practices and industry standards for Salesforce. This role requires the application of modern design patterns and architectural principles to develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code that aligns with Prudential's standards and the platform vendor's roadmap. The engineer will craft business logic and integration patterns within the Prudential Ecosystem, utilizing modern integration, data, and security patterns to ensure robust application performance. In this position, the engineer will also be tasked with writing unit, integration tests, and functional automation. This includes researching problems identified by quality assurance or product support and developing effective solutions to address these issues. The role demands an applied understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the team. The engineer will work on complex problems that require a thorough analysis of various factors, contributing to the overall success of the projects undertaken by Prudential. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. Telecommuting is permitted for up to one day a week, providing flexibility in the work environment.
