About The Position

The Workday Security Platform Engineer will be responsible for participating in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect Capital One HR Workday environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Workday applications and data. The WD Security Engineer will act as a subject matter expert in Workday security, and in conjunction with the Lead Security Engineer, execute security strategy and provide technical expertise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Information Security.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Workday Security.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 4+ years of experience in Workday security administration.
• 2+ years of experience configuring SSO with Workday using SAML 2.0 and integrating with enterprise IdPs.
• Workday Pro Certification in Security.
• 1+ years of experience with Workday Extend, Workday Prism, or Workday Financials security models.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and management of security controls for the Workday environment.
• Conduct regular security assessments and SOX audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks within the Workday environment.
• Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access levels for users.
• Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to the Workday environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
• Work closely with the Lead Security Engineer, HR stakeholders, and other business units to understand security requirements.
• Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Support SOX audit activities by ensuring Workday security controls are in place and functioning as intended.
