Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Integrations - Recruiting) Do you love building and pioneering in the technology space? We are seeking Workday Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. As part of a team that’s leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One’s Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions. What You’ll Do: Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Workday integrations to support the candidate and associate experience globally, leveraging web service technologies (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT) and Workday tools like Studio, Core Connectors, Custom Reports, and RaaS solutions. Deliver techno-functional solutions and provide deep expertise across Workday Human Resources modules (including HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits), ensuring configuration and integration alignment with Compensation, Payroll, and Security functional areas. Contribute to the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday solutions to support a rapidly expanding global footprint, including ownership for the current scope (UK, Canada, India, Mexico, and the Philippines) and integrating new international regions into the platform. Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with HR partners to design and configure optimized business processes within the Workday platform globally. Provide deep technical expertise on Workday Studio technologies, global security configurations, system troubleshooting, data analysis, and vendor management, coordinating with other HR/Enterprise teams. Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests, and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure all work is elegantly coded, effectively tuned for platform performance, and meets high-quality standards. Effectively communicate and influence solutions across the team, Product Owners, and global stakeholders/international business partners, translating business priorities to integrate the HR value proposition and strategies. Engage with other technologists across the HR Tech environment to identify innovative solutions for capturing and integrating data across the Human Resources technical landscape.
