Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 4 years experience in platform engineering on HR platforms (Workday, Peoplesoft, or Successfactors).
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.
  • Workday Integration Developer certifications.
  • 1+ years of experience designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend.
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend, including Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Workday APIs, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems using Workday Studio, Orchestrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality and defect-free solutions.
  • Document technical designs, development processes, and support procedures.
  • Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
