Koddi is a global technology company that provides software and services to help digital marketplaces monetize their first-party audiences through advanced commerce media technology and strategy. We are looking for an innovative Platform Engineer to join our technology team. This role involves collaborating with software engineers, AI and ML scientists, and other IT team members to ensure successful deployments and operations of services, as well as designing and implementing our platform infrastructure. The Platform Engineer will play a crucial role in merging the barriers between software development, testing, and operations teams.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure for our SaaS platform
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services
  • Maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture
  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
  • Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for mission-critical systems
  • Identify infrastructure problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages
  • Secure, scale, and manage Linux (and possibly Windows) environments
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems against industry standards and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams to help deliver end-to-end products and features, seeing them through from conception to delivery
  • Deliver strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with established goals
  • Assist in developing strategic plans for your cross-functional team, aligning with overall business objectives
  • Continue to keep the lights on (day-to-day administration)
  • 5+ years experience in a DevOps/Platform role in Cloud-Based production environments with strict SLAs
  • Strong experience in all key cloud services: EC2, S3, EKS, ECS, RDS, VPC, R53 and their equivalent counterparts in either Azure or GCP
  • Strong experience with utilizing established tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform preferred), Configuration Management (Ansible preferred), Observability and Alerting (Datagod preferred), Alerting (PD or OG)
  • Provable Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines with two or more of: Github Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, TravisCI
  • Experience in Linux system administration, with proficiency in both Python and Bash
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Solid communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mentality
  • Experience providing feedback to leadership on strategic initiatives
