Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Planning & Scheduling will lead strategic supply chain planning for US factory operations, ensuring accurate forecasting, optimized FG inventory control, and production scheduling excellence. This position will drive continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and operational efficiency in alignment with corporate objectives. The role requires visionary leadership and deep expertise in integrated supply chain systems, including MPS and MRP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain leadership across logistics, distribution, operational planning, and manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in production planning systems, including hands-on experience with MPS and MRP tools.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex planning operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a track record of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and refine KPIs that drive alignment with divisional objectives and promote customer-focused behaviors.
  • Lead all facets of production planning and performance monitoring for the US sites, including domestic and international coordination.
  • Develop and oversee long-term strategic planning models for production and order forecasting in close partnership with Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Direct inventory management processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely replenishment to internal and external distribution centers.
  • Provide leadership and direction for production planning, FG inventory control, and demand forecasting functions.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies that enhance service delivery, performance outcomes, and inventory efficiency.
  • Coordinate accurate and consistent utilization of MPS (Master Production Scheduling) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
  • Guide the professional development of departmental staff through structured performance management and training initiatives.
  • Generate and analyze reports, dashboards, and system data inputs (e.g., PBU loading, Futures Reports) to support informed decision-making.
