Senior Planner
About The Position
Essential Duties Plans production by reviewing customer orders and comparing stock available. Schedules production accordingly. Monitors short-term requirements, works with Operations to meet demands of special projects and Purchasing (MRP) to expedite raw materials if needed. Review and maintain Manufacturing Orders in VAI, D365, and work as needed in Cat2 Maintenance and daily system activities to support our Operations. Review and modifies information any time there is an engineering change. Recommends overtime based upon the comparison of inventory of stock and incoming customer orders. Develop, catalog, and helps maintain bill of materials and manufacturing routings. Conduct periodic special VOC projects which review departmental needs, including but not limited to, data presentation, revisions to such, and timeliness of reporting. Validate production reports for schedule attainment and compliance. Sets inventory levels to maintain at the SKU family level thorough various analysis techniques, (reorder points). Co-lead a weekly production schedule meeting as well as attending daily Operations meetings. Train other team members on our Manufacturing Systems and required steps to perform tasks. Assist other Purchasing and Planning Team members, as needed. Support our Offal & By Products side of our business with projecting monthly production levels of By-Products and predict future availability of these products for our order fulfillment and sales. Perform related duties as required.
