About The Position
The position is responsible for performing professional level planning work within the Planning Department. This includes reviewing land use entitlement applications, developing staff reports, and interacting with the general public, land development professionals, and staff from other departments and agencies to respond to planning questions and problems. The role also involves making public presentations to Boards and Commissions, community meetings, and other public forums. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening meetings. Remote work opportunities may be considered after successful completion of probation, subject to management discretion and department head approval.
