In this role, you will be part of a team that delivers design and drafting services within the piping discipline, contributing to various projects that require innovative and sustainable solutions. You will work under some supervision, assisting in the delivery of high-quality design services to both Worley and its clients. Your involvement will span from the initial stages of consulting and engineering to installation and commissioning, and even to decommissioning and remediation phases. In this position, you will participate in interactive planning meetings to help develop project schedules and establish major milestones. You will need to be knowledgeable about client and project procedures and specifications, and you will be responsible for identifying and requesting information necessary to maintain project schedules. Utilizing advanced 3D modeling software such as PDMS, E3D, and Navisworks, you will monitor design quality and progress, ensuring that all design efforts are well-coordinated with other engineering disciplines. Your role will also involve participating in design reviews and performing field walk-downs of existing P&IDs, where you will gather data to input into the PDMS/E3D model. This position requires extensive experience in piping design, particularly with PDMS/E3D, and the ability to navigate complex project environments with numerous obstructions and design constraints. You will be expected to provide piping isometrics and verify man-hour estimates for cost control, ensuring that all piping packages are well-integrated with other design disciplines.
