About The Position

Craig Technologies is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Bechtel and Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Craig Technologies's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program. A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Craig Technologies has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. We use our expertise to help our customers securely and effectively transform mission delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience for Level I.
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience for Level II.
  • Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards.
  • Prior experience using GTStrudl structural analysis program.
  • Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Previous DoD project experience for Risk Category 5 facilities.
  • PE Registration.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Craig Technologies project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, selects, and applies standard plant design and piping engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
  • Performs pipe support structural analysis using GTStrudl and review of systems in accordance with DoD UFC standards, ASME B31.3, AISC, or other applicable code where required.
  • Development & application of typical pipe supports and/or creation of pipe support calculations/drawings for engineered pipe supports as required.
  • Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by disciplines.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $110,000 - $155,000.
  • Anticipated contract length of 2 years with potential for extension.
  • Full-Time Office/Project onsite 100%.
