The Senior Ping IAM & SRE Engineer position at Morgan Stanley/WWT is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days on-site in Atlanta, GA. This role involves an on-call rotation and focuses primarily on Ping Identity IAM skills, with a secondary emphasis on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) knowledge. Candidates should have experience with the Ping Identity suite of products, including PingID, PingFederate, PingOne, PingAccess, and PingDirectory. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing global IAM services, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions across the organization.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize global company IAM services, assessing system performance and offering suggestions and contributing to solutions.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance system security, reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Partner with system owners to certify business continuity and disaster recovery efforts of IAM systems.
  • An acute understanding of IAM products, especially those provided by ForgeRock and Ping Identity.
  • Intermediate knowledge of standard SRE principles and processes (pipeline dependencies, command line programming, dashboard use, etc.).
  • Intermediate knowledge of operating system administration on Windows and Linux (Redhat) platforms.
  • An intermediate knowledge of at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, or Shell.
  • Familiarity with using debuggers when troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity working with operational and plant management tooling such as Splunk, Grafana, ServiceNow, Jira, and Jenkins.
  • Experience working with large enterprise architecture.
  • General network and enterprise security standards and concepts.
