Job overview As a Senior ERP Programmer, you’ll be at the heart of our technology operations, managing and enhancing our PICK database and programming systems that support Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) applications. From developing new modules to ensuring seamless software integration and safeguarding data security, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our business. Here are the specifics: Program Development and Maintenance Make moderate to major changes to existing business relevant applications, and changes to existing business important applications. Develop new major business relevant applications, moderate business important applications, and minor business critical applications. Create and validate advanced test cases and testing methodologies. System Optimization and Process Improvement Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Recommend improvements to guidelines, standards, and the SDLC process. Review and provide feedback on specifications, requirements, and documentation. Collaborate closely with business units to understand needs and translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure programs and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. Data and Security Management Maintain enterprise-level security protocols and safeguard company data.
