About The Position

Senior Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics Portsmouth, NH | Salary: $110,000–$125,000 CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates is hiring a Senior Physical Therapist who is deeply passionate about physical therapy and ready to elevate their career inside a high-performing, cash-based outpatient practice. This role is for a strong clinician who wants to treat at a high level, grow into leadership, and actively mentor others - while maintaining a robust clinical caseload and leading by example. About Our Practice We are a 100% cash-based outpatient orthopedic practice serving active adults 40+ who want to avoid pills, injections, and surgery. Our model includes: 1:1 patient care Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT) as our core evaluation framework Structured mentorship and ongoing clinical development A culture of accountability and performance Long-term outcome focus beyond symptom resolution Integration of Pilates-based movement rehab and regenerative technologies (Shockwave + EMTT) We are building a leadership pipeline, and this role is designed for a clinician who wants to grow into greater responsibility over time. The Role This role is structured as a pathway toward future Clinical Director advancement for the right candidate. Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (NH license or eligible)
  • 2+ years outpatient orthopedic experience
  • Strong interest in clinical reasoning and mentorship
  • Growth-minded, accountable, and coachable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MDT preferred (certification a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain approximately 32–36 hours of patient care per week
  • Deliver advanced clinical reasoning and structured plan-of-care development
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other PTs
  • Participate in structured case review and internal education
  • Assist in onboarding and developing newer clinicians
  • Model accountability, professionalism, and performance standards
  • Contribute to refining clinical systems and processes
