We are seeking a talented and motivated, senior software engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining our customer maintenance systems and on building pipelines that integrate those systems with our finance, Salesforce and sales systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that ensure secure access to our platform's data and services. Your software engineering expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality code that meets our growing business needs.

Requirements

• Experience in PHP (7.x or 8.x)
• Experience with MVC frameworks (CakePHP, Symfony or Laravel)
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with working with SQL databases
• Proficient in Git and other basic DevOps tools
• Knowledge of good automated testing practices, with experience using PHPUnit.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Javascript, Typescript or AWS tools is not essential but you must be excited by the prospect of learning these and other new skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust integration systems using a modern tech stack.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Integrate customer data with existing and new internal and third-party APIs.
• Ensure seamless integration of new features with existing systems and services.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Maintain thorough documentation of your work to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Develop unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability of the solutions.
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
