Senior Pharmacy Care Technician - Hybrid in Houston, TX

As a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician, you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. You will find an incredible team culture that provides opportunities to learn and evolve every day. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am – 5pm. This is a hybrid-remote role. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month and work remotely (work from home) all other days of the month. Office Location: Houston, TX – 2950 North Loop West, Brookhollow Central III, Houston, TX If you reside in Houston, TX, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. This position follows a hybrid schedule with 1 in-office day per month.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Beginner level of proficiency with navigating Microsoft Office and a Windows-based environment
- Reside within commutable distance to Houston, TX office location
- Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am – 5pm
Nice To Haves
- Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
- Experience with Part D claims adjudication

Responsibilities
- Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with Clinical Pharmacists
- Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a Clinical Pharmacist when appropriate
- Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and MedAdhmembers to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs
- Document and track member engagement
