Requirements

  • Active and compliant Property & Casualty insurance license
  • 8+ years of personal lines account management experience
  • Proven experience in insurance customer service, account management, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of home, auto, umbrella, and high-value personal lines coverages, products, and industry practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accountability
  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with agency policies

Nice To Haves

  • Educational background in insurance or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service an assigned book of personal lines accounts
  • Coordinate renewal processes, including conducting renewal reviews 60–90 days in advance
  • Process endorsements, billing inquiries, policy changes, and documentation accurately and timely
  • Respond to client communications in a professional and prompt manner
  • Provide accurate information to underwriters and carrier partners
  • Generate new personal lines business through cross-selling, account rounding, referrals, quoting, binding, and policy delivery
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation within the agency management system
  • Remain current on insurance markets, coverage changes, and industry trends
  • Maintain active and compliant state insurance licensing
  • Adhere to all J.D. Fulwiler & Company policies, procedures, standards, and ethical guidelines
