Candidates must be local to Austin, TX General Description: This role is functional in nature and will not require hands-on coding; the role will however, require enough technical acumen to research problems in the legacy system using People Tools/Code, SQL, etc. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in both the functional and technical aspects of PeopleSoft. The role will also require heavy Functional Analyst skills. In addition, the candidate must have solid experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment as part of a data conversion team to include the mapping of data fields and performing root-cause analysis in the legacy PeopleSoft application identifying the cause of data problems in the system. The worker must have impeccable oral and written communication skills, solid experience with the integration of the core modules within the PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8 application (HRMS, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Payroll), including experience researching processing requirements between other systems – both upstream and downstream. This worker must be equally confident conversing with top level management and developers. Finally, the worker must be confident having detailed conversations with the users at the functional level, with developers at the technical level, and be able to accurately read People Code, write SQL, and analyze data. The ideal candidate would have experience on data conversion projects; has been a hands-on project team lead and have substantial experience as a functional resource in Benefits Administration, Payroll, or Pension Administration modules. The workers experience with PeopleSoft code, SQL, Application Engine and SQR programs and have the ability to determine how a page or Application Engine in processing data.
