About The Position

As a critical member of the local People (HR) team and broader Global People (HR) team, the Senior Human Resources Generalist will provide support for both US and global People Team Business Partners, Shared Services, as well as local team members. This is a unique opportunity to partner with leadership to strengthen our people-centric culture and business performance. This team member will be heavily focused on implementing and administering human resources programs and policies including performance and talent management employee relations, compensation, and other initiatives that promote a healthy, people-centric culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and 5 years of generalist experience, or an associate degree and more than 5 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions, including but not limited to FMLA, EEO, ADA, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and sustain positive relationships at all levels of the organization, operating with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work with and preserve confidential information.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities.
  • Possesses strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrates analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HRIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support company-wide programs including talent management, annual compensation, performance reviews, and talent reviews.
  • Work closely with leaders and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Typically supports first-line through mid-level leaders.
  • Develop effective relationships with local and global HR Business Partners and consult with leaders providing people guidance, when appropriate.
  • Liaises with internal stakeholders, including all functions within People, Finance, Payroll, and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Maintains data integrity in Workday related to employment lifecycle changes to include hires, terminations, position management, reporting, and other related tasks.
  • Support Shared Services in local New Hire Onboarding.
  • Assign and monitor team member completion of training requirements.
  • Consistently apply appropriate judgment and discretion in the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Provide information to team members on policies and practices.
  • Promote or assist with Shared Services and corporate wellness and benefit programs and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
