WHAT YOU’LL DO Braze is in the midst of an exciting evolution of our HR technology ecosystem and we’re looking for a Senior People Systems Analyst to help lead the charge. Sitting within the People Operations team and reporting to the Manager of People Systems, this role plays a critical part in optimizing our global HR systems, primarily Workday and driving forward our people data strategy. You’ll be hands-on with system configuration, lead key projects, and partner cross-functionally to deliver smart, scalable solutions that support a growing global workforce.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in People Systems or HR Operations with 2 to 3 years of direct Workday configuration experience
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Talent, and Absence modules
  • Expertise in Workday Business Process configuration and report building including calculated fields and dashboards
  • Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills with an ability to influence without authority
  • Experience documenting systems and writing SOPs or user guides for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
  • A process improvement mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving change

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus points for experience with Time Tracking, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, or Payroll
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira preferred
  • Experience with other people systems like Greenhouse, CultureAmp, or Lattice is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with People Systems Analysts to enhance and optimize Workday functionality and implement solutions that improve usability and adoption
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose scalable system solutions, and lead the end-to-end implementation process
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules including Business Processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and security groups
  • Build and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards, enabling data-driven decisions across the People team and broader organization
  • Monitor and improve existing Business Processes and design new ones to support evolving business needs
  • Participate actively in the Workday Community and stay current on new features and best practices
  • Document system configurations and maintain SOPs, training materials, and end-user guides
  • Lead and support key initiatives including system audits, integration reviews, and Workday bi-annual release testing and deployment
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal partners to manage integrations, data quality, and system access management
