As our Senior People Communications & Engagement Strategist, you’ll craft engaging stories and foster connection across our growing, global company. Working alongside our Senior People Communications & Engagement Manager, you'll be a creative force behind internal communication campaigns that don't just inform our team members, but truly engage them. Whether you're spotlighting team member stories, celebrating company wins, or helping to translate complex programs into compelling narratives, you'll help our people feel genuinely connected to GitLab, and each other. This role is part of our People Communications & Engagement team that is focused on informing, and engaging GitLab team members through proactive, transparent messaging that support various People programs and company-wide initiatives across our teams and divisions. Our team plays an important role in enhancing the team member experience—from planning company events that align our people with strategy and goals, to spotlighting notable work across our channels, to helping stakeholders develop thoughtful communication strategies and supporting outreach plans. In this role you will help champion the successful adoption and optimization of our new internal communications hub (powered by Simpplr), while creating and curating engaging content (news, team member stories, company updates, events, and resources) that aims to build community and connection.
