About The Position

As a Sr. People Business Partner at HighLevel, you will serve as a trusted thought partner to executive and functional leaders across our G&A division, including People, Legal, Finance, IT, and. This role will lead strategic people initiatives, advise leadership on organisation effectiveness, and enable G&A teams to scale effectively while aligning with HighLevel’s mission and culture. You will influence business outcomes by crafting and executing forward-looking talent strategies grounded in data, empathy, and business acumen.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive business partnering experience, preferably in high-growth tech environments.
  • Experience supporting multiple G&A verticals (e.g., Legal + IT + Finance).
  • Proven success influencing senior leaders in matrixed, fast-paced, and global (remote-first) environments.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, employment practices, and employee relations across the US (experience with India a plus).
  • Knowledge of HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, organisational effectiveness, and DEIB.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High learning agility, empathy, and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of multiple business partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; data-oriented and systems-savvy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on organisational design, role clarity, and team development.
  • Support change management efforts and business transformation initiatives within G&A.
  • Proactively identify talent gaps, organisational health risks, and structural inefficiencies, presenting clear action plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally on workforce planning and headcount management across departments.
  • Guide and influence performance management, career development, and succession planning for G&A teams.
  • Partner with Talent Management and Learning team to design and facilitate tailored career growth and training opportunities.
  • Partner strategically with leaders across to align talent priorities with business goals, anticipating needs and shaping solutions as teams grow and evolve.
  • Enable excellent management by guiding leaders through performance moments—calibrating expectations, delivering actionable feedback, and addressing challenges early with clarity and confidence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, resolving complex situations with empathy, fairness, and sound, business-aligned judgment.
  • Design for impact by helping teams define clear roles, responsibilities, and organisational structures that accelerate decision-making and execution.
  • Lead with a coaching mindset: empowering new managers, strengthening leadership capability, and helping teams navigate change with adaptability and resilience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with PBPs and COEs to refine manager-facing tools, frameworks, and guidance, ensuring consistency and scalability across the company.
  • Strengthen the People team's effectiveness by contributing to high-value rhythms, such as calibrations, listening cycles, and ongoing team development.
  • Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, team health, and psychological safety.
  • Champion an inclusive and values-driven work environment aligned with HighLevel’s mission.
  • Leverage people analytics and dashboards to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor key metrics around retention, engagement, and organisational health.
  • Advance AI-enabled people practices by spotting opportunities to streamline processes, enhance insights, and elevate performance cycles through automation and intelligent tools.
