About The Position

The Senior Pegasystems Engineer (PRPC) at U.S. Bank is responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining software products within the Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) framework. This role involves implementing business process management, CRM, decision management, and case management systems, while ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and architectural standards. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to communicate processes and results, anticipate blockers, and maintain a focus on software reliability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.
• 1 year of experience with PRPC.
• Experience in designing workflow and building integration reusable components, user interface, and reports.
• Proficiency in Agile, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, Oracle, REST APIs, SOAP, and XML.
• Pega Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
• Develop and implement business process management, CRM, decision management, and case management systems within the PRPC framework.
• Conduct code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures.
• Consider scalability, reliability, and performance of systems when defining technical designs.
• Create optimal designs adhering to architectural best practices.
• Exhibit a relentless focus on software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards.
• Communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, and customers.
• Anticipate and communicate blockers and delays before they require escalation.
