About The Position

As a Senior Payroll Systems Analyst, you will support all payroll-related systems, implement approved system updates in support of policy, ensure the effective and efficient completion of daily payroll activities, interpret system documentation in support of upgrades and team process changes and documents. You will create, maintain and execute approved system test scripts, including documentation of testing and complete functional system configurations updates. You will also recommend new system functionality and configuration in support of improved efficiency and accuracy and provide project management support for Payroll projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field required.
  • 3-5 years HR/Payroll systems support experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll and payroll reporting.
  • Possess project management experience.
  • Cloud Payroll experience required.
  • Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets, database, word processing and ERP software.

  • Payroll certification preferred.
  • Project Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support all payroll-related systems and implement approved system updates.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient completion of daily payroll activities.
  • Interpret system documentation in support of upgrades and team process changes.
  • Create, maintain and execute approved system test scripts, including documentation of testing.
  • Complete functional system configurations updates.
  • Recommend new system functionality and configuration for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide project management support for Payroll projects.
  • Administer ongoing Oracle HCM software processes and procedures, including data audits and ad-hoc reporting for Payroll.
  • Monitor Oracle HCM configuration changes and end-user accessibility issues, perform and document root cause analyses.
  • Propose and implement process and/or configuration solutions.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, HRIS and IT teams to drive accountability and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with department contacts (internal customers) and consult with them on Payroll HRIS matters.
  • Review vendor feature and regulatory release materials, analyze compatibility and utility of updates, and prepare change management materials for end-users.
  • Create Oracle HCM reports and queries in support of Payroll Operations.
  • Prepare analysis and reports as needed.
  • Provide data and systems research.
  • Support audit activities through development of reports, data gathering and analysis.
  • Develop project plans and oversee projects for Payroll projects.
  • Prepare and update training materials and process documentation as needed.
  • Provide WOW! Customer Service to all AutoZoners.
  • Supervise temporary, part-time or intern employees.
