We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team. This role focuses on managing payroll operations for multiple NAM/EMEA countries, including U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland and Germany, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NAM/UK payroll processing and year-end activities, with a collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new country payrolls.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and year-end activities.
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance for U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland and Germany.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and global data privacy standards.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and MS Excel; experience with global payroll platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to cross-train and learn payroll for new countries.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Management for designated countries (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany), including bi-weekly/monthly processing, statutory filings, and year-end activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and GDPR requirements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and other cross-functional teams to resolve payroll-related issues and maintain data integrity.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives and support payroll operations for other regions as needed.
  • Assist in process improvements, automation, and standardization of global payroll practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of country-specific compliance requirements and implement changes promptly.
