About The Position
The Art Institute of Chicago is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for the timely and accurate production of the bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and student payrolls. The Payroll Specialist will understand and execute all internal and interfacing third-party software systems used for payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all current federal, state, and international payroll tax laws, as well as the Art Institute's established guidelines and policies. This position is classified as full-time salary staff at Grade Level 8, with a hiring range of $66,420 - $83,000.
