The Senior Payroll Analyst administers payroll data which includes processing payroll, conducting reconciliation audits, and interfacing with third-party vendors. This role coordinates the planning and execution of payroll processes and systems to ensure payroll processing occurs in an accurate and timely manner. The Senior Payroll Analyst creates and coordinates processes and procedures for appropriate payroll processes.

  • Timely and accurate payroll processes with appropriate governance for legal compliance on domestic, inpat, and expat employees.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to align and promote strong payroll strategies.
  • Assist and lead HRIS payroll-related modules to meet the organization's needs and objectives while proactively reviewing HR processes that impact payroll processes to increase effectiveness and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with government regulations as well as internal and external audits.
  • Data research and analysis of payroll variances or deviances in payroll totals for each pay period.
  • Provide timely answers to all employees’ payroll-related requests while troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide Quarterly 941s and DE-9s for the annual Workers’ Compensation audit to the insurance company.
  • Process necessary payroll summaries and register for the annual 401(k) audit with the auditing firm.
  • Complete state tax forms for the company and reconcile outstanding state tax issues.
  • Create and update SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for payroll processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years of Payroll experience with strong knowledge of multi-state payroll administration and expat shadow payrolls.
  • 5+ years of Administrator experience with payroll-related modules, extensive understanding of system architecture, complex reporting, and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency and utilization of Dayforce and knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Experience with system implementations with an advanced level of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting within databases.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant compensation-related legislation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to take initiative and assist with facilitating change.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate well.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to be resourceful independently.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar APA certification.
