About The Position

Responsible for efficient and timely movement of patients, specimens, supplies, and equipment throughout the hospital utilizing the appropriate mode of transportation and ancillary equipment while assuming responsibility for accurate identification of the patient, their safety and well-being. Familiar with proper use of patient lifting devices and capable of directing others in their use. Collaborative in coordination of care efforts such as discharges, imaging turn around functions, and morgue transports. Accurate use of Ticket to Ride as a hand-off mechanism. Requirements

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• 3 months previous patient experience
• 3 months experience in Epic function
