We are seeking a highly organized, service-oriented professional to support our Rehabilitation Clinics in Columbia Falls and Whitefish, Montana. This role works across both clinic locations and plays an important part in ensuring excellent patient service and efficient day-to-day clinic operations. Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in at least one of the following: A healthcare setting Vocational training in healthcare Knowledge of clinical care provided in a medical office setting
  • Understanding of insurance requirements, document scanning/attachment within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and back-office processes
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to learn additional software as needed; Meditech experience preferred
  • Knowledge of office methods, equipment, operations, and processes
  • Understanding of patient billing processes related to payments and adjustments
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, medical forms, reports, and processing methods
  • Ability to take initiative and problem-solve daily
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with a variety of audiences

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and providing professional reception and administrative support
  • Completing the full patient check-in and check-out process
  • Serving as a patient advocate and helping ensure an excellent patient experience
  • Processing insurance information, authorizations, and related documentation
  • Coordinating referrals to other practices and facilities as needed
  • Managing incoming and outgoing medical record requests in accordance with Logan Health procedures
  • Supporting revenue cycle and payment-related tasks as applicable
  • Maintaining office supply inventory for assigned areas
  • Acting as a resource for staff and assisting leadership with coordination of assigned team members
  • Supporting the implementation of clinic policies and procedures
  • Helping foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Adapting quickly, multitasking effectively, and responding promptly to clinic needs
