About The Position

Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA, is seeking the Lord's direction for our next Senior Pastor, who will lead our staff and shepherd our congregation to Elevate Christ and Make Disciples locally, nationally, and globally. Summer Grove has been a distinctive church in our community for over 175 years and is recognized for being a loving place to belong with our ministries centered on evangelism, discipleship, and outreach. We have Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evening services for our community. We also have a Hispanic Ministry that meets on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Requirements

• A passionate devotion to preaching the Word of God.
• Experience in church leadership and pastoral roles.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse congregation.
• Commitment to missions and outreach.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hispanic ministry.
• Familiarity with community engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the church staff and congregation in spiritual growth and discipleship.
