About The Position
CrossLife Church of Oviedo, FL is seeking a Senior Pastor who will be responsible for preaching the Word of God, leading the church, casting and communicating vision, and bringing the necessary resources to bear for ministry. The church currently has a worship attendance of 2200 and 1500 in small groups across two locations. With a team of 15 full-time ministers and an annual budget exceeding $7 million, the Senior Pastor will play a crucial role in guiding the church's mission and outreach efforts. As a Southern Baptist church located in northeast Orlando, near the University of Central Florida, CrossLife Church serves a vibrant community of over 250,000 residents within a 7-mile radius. Despite the growth in population, the church maintains a hometown feel, fostering a close-knit community among its members. The Senior Pastor will be expected to engage with the congregation, provide spiritual leadership, and ensure that the church's activities align with its mission and values. Candidates for this position should possess a strong theological foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ministry. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire and motivate both the congregation and the staff, ensuring that the church continues to grow and thrive in its mission to serve the community and spread the Gospel.
