About The Position

The Sr. Partnership Manager (Carriers) will manage a curated portfolio of Key Carriers. You will own revenue and growth, develop partnership strategies, drive negotiations and establish long term relationships with a focus to on creating incremental value for our joint customers. This position is can be based in Austin, Texas or Remote. Travel Requirements: 15-20% travel is required for meetings, conferences, etc.

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Finance or engineering preferred. MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, 3+ years of partner development management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience driving complex negotiations in eCommerce, shipping or related industries.
  • Strategic approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute a comprehensive strategy for each carrier in the portfolio, focused on customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Acquire deep knowledge of each carrier’s vision, goals and objectives. Collaborate with them and with internal teams across product, finance, marketing and sales to successfully execute and drive joint initiatives.
  • Be an expert in e-commerce, shipping and merchant needs. Use this knowledge to identify new areas for growth and collaborate with carriers to represent these opportunities to identify value creation opportunities.
  • Provide project and program management, owning all facets of carrier success, conduct quarterly business reviews and lead projects with well-defined goals, milestones and timeframes.
  • Develop a data-first approach, using critical thinking and business judgement to propose ideas, manage risks and develop robust business models for the portfolio.
  • Become a thought leader and trusted advisor - Identify emerging trends and opportunities that will drive value to Auctane, our customers and carriers.
  • Help drive Auctane’s future success by being a team-first collaborator. Build relationships with carriers, industry players and internal teams to help understand market trends and new business opportunities.
