Banking services provided by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC Senior Partnership Analyst II (Credit Cards) Data and analytics play a pivotal role in Credit Karma’s mission and every part of our business – informing new product design, driving marketing efficiency, and powering the recommendations we personalize to each of our over 140 million members. We’re seeking a driven, results­-oriented, problem solver to join the Partnerships Analytics team supporting the Credit Cards vertical. In this role, you will use your analytical and strategic experience to create data-driven business recommendations that drive key decisions or deepen relations with our partners (startup fintechs to the largest financial institutions in the world). This role has high­ visibility and will contribute meaningfully to Credit Karma’s growth in delivering value for our members and partners. Unlike some analytics functions, you are not a service provider. You’re a thought leader to the business, owning end-to-end analytic work streams, defining success and performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations for cross functional groups and partners

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of analytics experience and BS/MS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, or Finance
  • Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to independently extract, manipulate and analyze large datasets
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience applying them to business problems

Nice To Haves

  • Strategic or analytical experience within fintech, financial services, or consulting, with a strong preference for candidates possessing deep expertise in consumer lending and credit risk
  • Experience building dashboard and performance reporting in Tableau, Looker or similar BI tools
  • Exposure to R/Python
  • Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly, succinctly and confidently in verbal and written communications
  • Strong problem-solver able to identify opportunities for growth or improvement to advance the goals of our both our partners and our business
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
  • Ability to work cross functionally and assert influence internally/externally

Responsibilities

  • Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Credit Karma and its lending partners
  • Own performance analytics for a portfolio of Credit Card issuers, identifying opportunities to improve funnel performance, expand revenue, and enhance member outcomes
  • Analyze tradeline, partner, and member-level data to evaluate credit performance trends, surface emerging risks, and identify opportunities for portfolio growth
  • Collaborate with Business Development to build data-driven materials for quarterly and ad hoc business reviews, shaping executive-ready narratives around performance, risk, and forward-looking growth strategies
  • Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions in Tableau (or similar BI tools), delivering timely, decision-ready insights to both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Build analytical frameworks to evaluate partner performance, marketplace dynamics, and portfolio health.
  • Utilize tradeline and partner data alongside data science models to build scalable solutions for managing credit risk
