About The Position

As a Senior Partner Manager at Walmart Connect, you will manage key businesses within one of our largest suppliers. Your consultative and strategic approach to sales and relationship building will be key to driving revenue and deepening brand connections to our customers through bespoke retail media solutions. This role involves building and managing relationships with executive clients and senior partner stakeholders, developing a comprehensive understanding of the clients' business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics. You will shape annual joint strategies between Walmart and clients, leading cross-functional teams to drive client success. Additionally, you will plan and achieve annual and incremental growth goals through the presentation of Walmart advertising products/solutions that will help clients meet their marketing objectives. Conducting forward-thinking, data-driven analyses, and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals will be essential, as well as collaborating closely with account management partners to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent professional industry experience.
  • 6 years quota-carrying digital sales experience.
  • Expertise in WMC products and/or digital media solutions, especially paid search, programmatic, and CTV.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • A strong ability to propose creative technologies across a landscape of diverse decision-makers.
  • A strong track record of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment.
  • Executive presence and experience developing content for and leading CMO-level meetings.
  • A passion for driving business results for companies.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Advertising, Marketing, or Business.
  • 5 years' experience in brand advertising, media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
  • 5 years' experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
  • 5 years' experience managing client accounts.
  • 5 years' experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.
