Walmart Connect is seeking a Technology Partner Development Manager to oversee a large portfolio of technology partners integrated with our advertising APIs. This role will focus on a broad set of highpotential SMB partners across campaign management, measurement, and creative technology categories. You will guide partners through our new incubation program while shaping the strategy, playbooks, and frameworks that define how early-stage and emerging partners grow with Walmart. In addition to hands-on partner management, you will help define how we support, operationalize, and scale these technology relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with technical solutions consultants and marketing teams to help partners develop their gotomarket strategies, with the goal of driving revenue through increased product adoption and joint business development. This role works cross-functionally to identify products, programs, and experiences that accelerate partner and WMC growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years strategic business and/or partnerships experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing business relationships and cross-functional projects
  • Experience in working with complex, technical partners, APIs, and product
  • Experience working cross-functionally, managing initiatives at scale and delivering results
  • Proven experience delivering partnership initiatives, having worked in sales, product, business development, partnership, with an emphasis on automated advertising experiences.
  • Analytical experience with experience diagnosing problems and crafting solutions but also introduce ways to validate and measure outcomes
  • Experience building working relationships at all levels of management, both internal and external facing especially with sales or pre-sales teams
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.
  • Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.
  • Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales. 5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales. 5 years’ experience managing client accounts. 5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main relationship manager for newly onboarded Technology Partners, with a mind for building partner success initiatives that scale.
  • Lead the development and evolution of our incubation program strategy, including playbooks that outline how Walmart Connect enables earlystage and SMB.
  • Contribute to programs designed to drive operational efficiency and scalable processes internally and externally by leveraging AI and automation.
  • Collaborate with partners and use past learnings to develop and execute joint gotomarket plans and playbooks for our partners— including PR, marketing, co-selling, developer enablement, and resource creation — to achieve shared revenue goals.
  • Drive scaled joint business planning and manage partner progress against growth and performance targets.
  • Gather and synthesize partner feedback to inform prioritization and direction of Walmart’s API product roadmap.
  • Work crossfunctionally with Product, Strategy, Legal, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams to identify enhancements that drive incremental revenue and improve partner experience.
  • Lead scaled outbound partner engagement to build strong business and technical integrations.
  • Enable WMC sales teams by developing content, training, and accelerators that highlight partner solutions and help unlock new opportunities.
