With a salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, this is an exciting opportunity for dedicated paralegals looking to make a meaningful difference. Summary of Position: The Senior Paralegal (BLF-1) is the first level in the Senior Paralegal Career track and is responsible for providing advanced paralegal support across assigned matters while leading a small team. This role has a billable hour requirement and is designed for a high-performing paralegal who can deliver strong work product at pace, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively with a small team. The BLF-1 role is intended to be a growth position with an opportunity to progress to Senior Paralegal (BLF-2) as business needs evolve and team structure expands. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's/Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in the legal field.
  • Deep knowledge of legal procedures and research.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an ability to work in a high pressure and exciting environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent proofreading skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess broad knowledge of daily paralegal tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point; ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research.
  • Proficient in using Apple products / MacOS
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details
  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with co-workers and the leadership team
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced paralegal support across assigned matters, ensuring accurate, high-quality, on-time deliverables and consistent quality control.
  • Draft, format, proofread, and coordinate legal documents and matter materials (e.g., correspondence, filings support, discovery materials, contract/matter support documents) in accordance with established standards.
  • Maintain matter files and systems, including calendars, deadlines, task lists, trackers, and document repositories, ensuring information is organized, current, and accessible.
  • Coordinate the flow of information among attorneys and other staff, clients, opposing parties, and any other person applicable to obtain required inputs and keep matters progressing efficiently.
  • Manage document-intensive workflows, including document collection, organization, version control, production coordination, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
  • Proactively identify risks to deadlines or quality (e.g., missing information, conflicting priorities, process gaps) and escalate early with recommended solutions.
  • Consistently hit billable-hour and transfer requirements, including timely and accurate time entry.
  • Prioritize effectively across competing deadlines to balance output and quality, communicating constraints and resource needs in advance.
  • Lead and support a small team of paralegals and legal assistants through daily direction, work allocation, prioritization, and follow-through.
  • Coach team members and conduct quality review to improve work product, consistency, and confidence.
  • Support onboarding and training; reinforce use of templates, checklists, standard operating procedures and workflows.
  • Promote a positive, accountable team environment by setting expectations, addressing issues promptly, and escalating performance or resourcing concerns as needed.
  • Coordinate coverage and balance workloads to maintain service levels during peak periods, absences, or shifting priorities.
  • Use and improve templates, SOPs, and guides.
  • Partner and collaborate with the Senior Paralegal team to align priorities, capacity, process updates, and consistent execution across matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.
