The ERCOT Interconnection is located within the State of Texas and includes approximately 90% of Texas’s electric load and 75% of its land area. Employees work a hybrid work schedule consisting of at least two days in the office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with the option of working three days remotely. The considered candidate will be required to reside in the Austin-metro area or be able to reliably commute to the office within a reasonable amount of time. The Senior Paralegal provides advanced professional support to the Legal Department, Governance functions, and enterprise-wide compliance and risk management activities. This role exercises independent judgment, manages complex workflows, and serves as a subject‑matter resource across multiple operational areas including legal administration, governance support, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform administration, enterprise risk management (ERM), project management, and cross‑departmental initiatives. The Senior Paralegal collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, leads process improvements, and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of critical organizational documentation and systems. Reports to SVP, Chief Administrative Officer.
