About The Position

The Senior Paid Social Planner is responsible for end-to-end paid social campaign strategy and execution across Meta, TikTok, and Reddit. This individual-contributor role owns planning, buying, optimization, measurement, and experimentation (A/B testing), and partners closely with creative and broader marketing stakeholders to translate performance insights into actionable creative and audience recommendations. The role manages a monthly paid social budget of $100K+ and is accountable for delivering efficient growth through rigorous testing and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on paid social experience managing performance campaigns in-platform (Meta required; TikTok strongly preferred; Reddit preferred).
  • Familiar with organic social media.
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets (at least $100K/month) with accountability to performance KPIs (e.g., CPA, CVR).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights and actions; comfort working in spreadsheets and reporting views.
  • Experience owning testing strategy (A/B testing frameworks, test prioritization, measurement approach).
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally (creative, brand, analytics) and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent campaigns.

Nice To Haves

  • GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) experience (ability to validate tracking, troubleshoot funnel drop-offs, and connect platform data to site analytics).
  • Experience with audience onboarding/identity and data collaboration platforms (e.g., LiveRamp) and applying 1P/CRM audiences to paid social activation.
  • Experience with common paid media reporting/BI tools (e.g., Looker/Sigma) and/or platform connectors.
  • Current/active platform certifications preferred (e.g., Meta Blueprint, TikTok Academy, Reddit Ads Certification).

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution across Meta, TikTok, and Reddit, aligned to business goals and campaign objectives.
  • Build and manage campaign structures ensuring best practices in setup, pacing, and QA.
  • Manage and optimize spend, including budget allocation, bid strategy, flighting, and performance-based reforecasting.
  • Lead ongoing optimization based on performance signals (creative, audience, placement), with clear hypotheses and documented learnings.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests (creative, messaging, landing experiences where applicable), and communicate results and next steps.
  • Own measurement and reporting for paid social campaigns: work alongside the analytics team to build dashboards/recurring performance readouts, and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Translate performance findings into creative insights (what’s working and why) in partnership with internal creative strategy team.
  • Ensure tracking and attribution readiness in collaboration with analytics team; leverage GA4 and GTM where available to improve measurement and diagnose issues.
  • Monitor platform changes and new product betas; recommend and implement improvements to maintain performance.
