About The Position

Trout CPA, a full-service certified public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Outsourced Accounting Specialist in its Client Accounting Services (CAS) department. The Senior Outsourced Accounting Specialist is an integral member of the CAS team, acting as a liaison between the client and the firm. This role is responsible for the overall client experience from onboarding through the coordination of service delivery.

Requirements

Three (3) to five (5) years of recent accounting experience
Accounting degree; preferred
Experience with management of multiple client priorities; highly desired
Proficiency with various accounting software and technology
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Represents the firm in a positive, professional manner

Responsibilities

Onboard new clients; attend kickoff meetings
Set up client engagements, provide training, maintain client information
Serve as primary client contact; for coordination and communication
Performs balance sheet reconciliation on the cash or accrual basis
Prepares financial information within client deadlines and on budget
Schedules client meetings; organizes data ahead of time; coordinates attendance by team members
Responds successfully and timely to client requests
Coordinate with internal teams for client engagement needs
Assist with client reporting (1099s, etc.)
Contribute to proposal development and attend networking events
Create documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Provide backup support to CAS team members
