About The Position

The Senior Outreach Manager is a role that is responsible to establish, maintain and develop relationships with referents as well as identify new business opportunities within assigned territory. They also develop strategies for growth of the designated territory. Additionally, the Senior Outreach Manager is responsible for Cultivating and maintaining long term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them by using knowledge of each industry and organization

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' progressive experience in healthcare/addiction sales and marketing required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Healthcare administration preferred
  • Valid driver's license required; all required RCA training upon hire date
  • Demonstrates proven sales and closing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products as well as Salesforce
  • Passion for helping those in recovery
  • Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the sale of products and/or services to multiple management layers of a hospital and/or health systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and regulatory standards
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Displays tact in dealing with staff and management team
  • Willingness to be flexible in adjusting to new and changing situations

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, builds, and maintains relationships with key strategic referral partners in designated territory.
  • Educate team members and referral sources about RCA services as related to industry changes, specific clinical programs and capabilities, clinical outcomes and appropriate patient referrals/admissions.
  • Manages all client related communication and CRM remotely, via smart mobile devices.
  • Communication may frequently fall outside of regular business hours (including weekends).
  • Occasional overnight travel will be required.
  • Manage the process of negotiating agreements with key partners.
  • Evaluate return on investment (ROI) for potential partnerships and provide status updates to senior leadership on projects.
  • Has a thorough understanding of treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Creates detailed territory business plans with clear objectives and measurable goals to hit growth projections.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activities that affect the region and develops action plan to increase referral partners within territory.
  • Analyzes client demographics and SUD/MH landscape to inform strategic direction of territory sales activity.
  • Possesses the ability to multi-task, and problem solve through a variety of scenarios.
  • Conducts quality presentations for agencies, hospital staff, discharge planners, and other groups as they are identified.
  • Builds and maintains productive interdepartmental relationships.
  • Adheres to all expense limitations and guidelines and submits monthly expenses via Coupa by the designated deadline.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with key members of the team, regarding potential admits and clients in the pipeline.
  • Ability to assist clinical team with discharge planning -- identifying and contacting appropriate facilities for transfer of care when needed.
  • Assist the Director as needed with training, and mentoring team members via coaching calls and riding along in the market.
  • Senior Outreach Managers must have the skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels of the organization; including- executive management, patients, and external agencies.
