About The Position

As a Senior OSP Engineer at TriTechne, you’ll serve as a technical leader responsible for designing complex fiber networks that power connectivity across communities. You’ll lead construction-ready OSP engineering efforts, support project execution from planning through closeout, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are accurate, compliant, and buildable.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of OSP fiber engineering and design experience.
Strong knowledge of aerial and underground fiber construction methods.
Experience with make-ready engineering, pole attachments, and clearance requirements.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to independently lead complex engineering projects and collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting FTTH, FTTX, or backbone fiber deployments.
Familiarity with permitting processes and utility coordination.
Experience mentoring or training junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of FTTH, FTTX, and fiber backbone OSP networks for aerial and underground construction.
Develop and review construction-ready engineering packages, including route designs, splice schematics, BOMs, and cost estimates.
Perform and validate field data collection to support accurate and constructable designs.
Support make-ready engineering, pole loading coordination, and clearance compliance.
Serve as the technical escalation point for design conflicts, constraints, and exceptions.
Support construction teams by responding to RFIs, reviewing redlines, and validating as-built updates.
Perform quality control reviews to ensure designs meet client, utility, and regulatory standards.
Mentor and support junior OSP Engineers and design staff.
Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards, templates, and workflows.
