About The Position
The Organizing Capacity Coordinator is responsible for the development, execution and coordination of trainings, training programs, and other learning opportunities designed to enhance organizing, campaigner and leadership skills of union organizers within the SEIU IU organizing community and our affiliated local unions. The Organizing Capacity Coordinator must be able to assess the development of organizers at all levels from OIT to Coordinator level and identify their needs and opportunities to grow and advance to the next level of development and responsibility. The Organizing Capacity Coordinator must be able to design, conduct and facilitate trainings and learning opportunities in both classroom, online and other settings.
