This position is responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation, and communication of business needs and requirements to IT, with a primary focus on Oracle EBS applications and modules. The role involves facilitating and leading the gathering of business needs, developing solution designs, and partnering with various analysts to provide coaching and mentoring. It also includes performing software training and presentations, making system modifications, and ensuring compliance with organizational processes.

  • Assess business needs utilizing a structured requirements gathering process.
  • Analyze, document, and manage changes to assist with and identify business priorities.
  • Focus on business process improvements impacting multiple client areas.
  • Assist business partners in identifying gaps, opportunities, impacts, and risks.
  • Write functional specifications for enhancements and customizations.
  • Translate business requirements and recommend best fit Oracle applications.
  • Contribute to strategic vision and perform feasibility studies of potential ERP applications.
  • Prepare design proposals reflecting cost, time, or alternative actions.
  • Develop analysis models such as process flows and activity diagrams.
  • Write, create, organize, and update standard test script templates.
  • Plan and execute new or changed functionality implementation.
  • Triages application module-specific Oracle application Help Desk requests.
  • Proactively monitor systems and identify potential issues.
  • Log service requests with Oracle Support as necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance existing accounting applications for changing business requirements.
  • Analyze, design, evaluate, modify, test, and implement enterprise-wide changes.
  • Assist with User Administration, permissions, and access.
  • Oversee assigned projects ensuring compliance to approval processes.
  • Assist teams with detailed design work for projects.
  • Monitor and assist with creation of comprehensive test plans.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and validate test results.
  • Conduct ongoing user training and assist in knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and establish new methodologies.
  • Functional expertise in systems environment and system administration.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Applications and financial applications suite.
  • Experience in requirements documentation and analysis.
  • Ability to write functional specifications and translate business requirements.
  • Knowledge of data flow in and out of Oracle via multiple interfaces.
  • Understanding of table structures and data relationships within Oracle Database.
  • Experience in conducting user training and mentoring staff.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with FDA SDLC processes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Knowledge Base for issue resolution.
